  • Barcode Artwork Test

    We have a new service where we can test your barcode artwork, to give you an idea of whether it will scan well.

    This is not an official Barcode Verification Report (which costs US$59) as required by some Supermarket and Hardware chains. But is a test using the same equipment and giving the same information.

    This test will be done on your artwork so you can have more confidence about the quality of the barcode before you go to print or it will tell you what problems there are with the barcode artwork.

    To do this test, please purchase the quantity you require (P500 each), and then email a pdf of the barcode artwork to us. The pdf must be A4 or smaller in size, and 100%. We will print it on a laser printer in B&W (so it won’t test any other print colours) and test it, then email the report to you.

    You can view some sample reports below. Grades vary from A (excellent) to C (OK) to D & below which are fails.

  • Note – Our barcode packages include barcode registration. Only purchase this product if you have bought a barcode through another company.

    Barcode registration is an optional service that we provide. It improves your product’s visibility on the internet. It is not compulsory to register your barcode and product. Your barcode will work without registration, and you still need to send your product information and barcode number to each retailer selling your product.

    If you order barcode registration from us, we will register your barcode number and product details on the major internet databases. This means that your product will join the countless other products already registered in these databases, and when search engines index the results your barcode number and product details will be findable in internet searches. 

    If you purchase this item you will be able to register your EAN, UPC, or ISBN barcode numbers and product/company details on the International Barcodes Database. The information you submit is sent to several other online barcode databases as well, helping to increase the online visibility of your products and barcodes.

    Please enter your barcode numbers into the “additional information” section when you proceed to the checkout page. We will then send you an email to request proof of your barcode ownership. If we are satisfied that you are the legal owner of an authentic EAN, UPC, or ISBN barcode number then we will activate your barcode number for registration on the International Barcodes Database, and give you instructions for how to register it.
